You

Alone, I sat with you today

You told me to dig a place

In the earth, where old fires once burned

Just under the leaves, where I have been before

To take the old ways bury them just under the new roots

To leave for eternity

You told me to forget, expel them

The journey has just begun.

You will tell me of more another day

When the snow is lying as a warm blanket on the earth.

You told me that all things are true

They are as they appear to me

You will find life beginning to unfold

As the water ripples down the rock

Sometimes slowly, sometimes rushing

You told me to have peace, set my spirit free

As the tree has life, through its roots

So shall you have a continuing of vision

Watch for the signs, which I lay before you

Take nothing for granted, if you feel, believe.
